Brussels, March 25, IRNA -- Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri      
condemned Tuesday the US-British war on Iraq.                         
    Hariri told reporters in Brussels after holding talks with EU     
foreign policy chief Javier Solana Tuesday evening that they discussed
the war on Iraq 'which we condemn and find that it will not solve the 
problem'.                                                             
    "On the contrary it swill create more problems than solving them,"
he said. Hariri said he also discussed with Solana the EU role to     
resolve the Palestinian question.                                     
    Earlier, Hariri met the President of the European Commission,     
Romano Prodi, and discussed the Iraqi crisis.                         
    EU sources told IRNA that both Prodi and Hariri believe that the  
Iraq war will be prolonged.
